Apex Legends x Cyberpunk Event Brings Night City, Sandevistan, Skippy, and New Skins
Night City has officially invaded the Outlands.
The Apex Legends x Cyberpunk event is now live, delivering one of the most ambitious crossovers the battle royale has seen. Available from July 14 through August 4, 2026, the limited-time event transforms E-District, introduces powerful Cyberware mechanics, unleashes Cyberpsychosis, and adds a massive collection of cosmetics inspired by Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
Players can dash across the battlefield with Sandevistan, disappear into the Net with Blackwall Breach, hunt down a Mythic version of Skippy, and equip their favorite Legends with futuristic new skins.
Get ready to chrome up, choom. Apex Legends is heading straight into the dark future.
Night City Takes Over E-District

The crossover brings a full Night City-themed takeover of E-District in Wildcard.
During the event, the map receives a cyberpunk makeover featuring towering neon skylines, holographic koi swimming through the air, corrupted signs, futuristic advertisements, and visual glitches spread across the environment. The familiar streets of E-District now feel like an extension of Night City itself.
The transformation is not limited to visuals. The event also introduces new gameplay mechanics designed to make Wildcard matches faster, more aggressive, and significantly more unpredictable.
Players will need to master their new cybernetic abilities while carefully managing the dangerous consequences of using too much chrome.
Sandevistan Adds Lightning-Fast Movement

One of the biggest additions to the Apex Legends x Cyberpunk event is the Sandevistan Cyberware mod.
Inspired by the iconic technology from the Cyberpunk universe, Sandevistan allows players to perform rapid dashes in any direction. Each dash also restores shields, creating opportunities to escape dangerous situations, close the distance on an enemy, or instantly reposition during a firefight.
Players can chain two dashes together before touching the ground, making the Cyberware especially powerful in the hands of aggressive squads and movement-focused players.
A well-timed Sandevistan activation could completely change the outcome of a battle. One second, an enemy squad has you trapped. The next, you are behind them with recharged shields and a loaded weapon.
Blackwall Breach Lets Players Enter the Net
Sandevistan is not the only Cyberware option available during the event.
Players can also use Blackwall Breach, a new mod built around stealth, disruption, and tactical repositioning. Activating it allows the player to phase into the Net before reappearing in a new position.
After leaving the Net, Blackwall Breach releases a disruptive EMP that damages enemy shields and reveals their location.
The ability creates several strategic possibilities. Players can use it to initiate a fight, escape from an unfavorable position, disrupt a defending squad, or reveal enemies before launching a coordinated attack.
While Sandevistan favors speed and direct aggression, Blackwall Breach rewards players who prefer deception and calculated positioning.
Using Too Much Cyberware Triggers Cyberpsychosis

Chrome comes with a price.
Every time players activate Cyberware, their Cyberware Capacity meter increases. Reaching the limit triggers Cyberpsychosis, temporarily transforming the player into a high-speed melee threat.
While Cyberpsycho, players receive increased movement speed and devastating melee damage. However, they lose access to weapons, Legend abilities, shields, and ordnance.
This creates a dangerous high-risk, high-reward mechanic. Cyberpsychosis can turn a player into a terrifying close-range monster, but entering the state at the wrong moment could leave them completely exposed.
Players who want to avoid the transformation can use Immunoblocker Syringes found around the map. Immunoblocker Caches can also remove the entire Cyberware meter, allowing squads to continue using their enhancements without immediately losing control.
Managing Cyberware Capacity may become just as important as managing shields, ammunition, and positioning.
Skippy Returns as a Mythic Alternator
No Cyberpunk crossover would be complete without Skippy.
The talking smart weapon from Cyberpunk 2077 appears in Apex Legends as the Mythic Skippy Alternator. Players can hunt for the weapon during matches and activate either “Puppy-Loving Pacifist” or “Stone-Cold Killer” mode.
Skippy also comments on the player’s actions, bringing the weapon’s unpredictable personality directly into the Apex Games.
Players can upgrade the Mythic weapon with Exotic Shards to unlock additional visual effects, ordnance skins, and special knock effects.
The Alternator has always been a reliable close-range weapon, but giving it Skippy’s personality and Cyberpunk-inspired presentation turns it into one of the event’s biggest attractions.
Cyberpunk and Edgerunners Skins Arrive in Apex Legends

The crossover introduces eight new Legend skins and eight weapon skins.
Characters represented in the collection include Axle, Sparrow, Lifeline, Crypto, Rampart, Loba, Ash, and Gibraltar. The revealed designs include Sparrow as David Martinez, Axle as Lucy, Rampart as Rebecca, Loba as Panam Palmer, Ash as Lizzy Wizzy, and Gibraltar with a Royce-inspired appearance.
The event also includes weapon skins for the:
Wingman
Charge Rifle
Mastiff
L-STAR
P2020
RE-45
R-301
Kraber
The limited-time Cyberpunk Collection will remain available through the in-game Store until August 18, 2026, giving players additional time to purchase cosmetics after the main gameplay event ends.
With designs inspired by both Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the collection is likely to be especially appealing to fans of David, Lucy, Rebecca, and the wider Night City universe.
Earn Eddies and Unlock Free Rewards
Players can earn Eddies, the currency used throughout the Cyberpunk universe, by completing event activities.
These Eddies can be spent in the event Reward Shop, which includes several themed items. Featured rewards include the Arasaka Flight Protocol Epic Valkyrie skin and the Kang-Tao Specter Epic Mirage skin.
Additional rewards include event packs, Apex Packs, Battle Pass Stars, Crafting Metals, badges, and Legend trackers.
This gives players a reason to continue participating throughout the event, even if they are not planning to purchase the premium Cyberpunk Collection.
Free Apex Legends Twitch Drops Are Available
Respawn is also offering Twitch Drops throughout the entire crossover.
From July 14 through August 4, Twitch Drops are enabled across all Apex Legends streams. Players only need to connect their EA and Twitch accounts and watch eligible Apex Legends content.
The available rewards are:
SAMURAI Weapon Charm: Watch for 30 minutes.
Data Diver Tracker Set: Watch for 60 minutes.
According to EA, earned rewards should appear in the game within 24 hours after the player logs in.
Because Drops are enabled for all Apex Legends streams during the event, players are free to watch their preferred creators rather than being restricted to a small selection of official channels.
The Crossover Also Includes Cyberpunk Nessie Plushies
The collaboration extends beyond the game with two limited-edition Nessie plushies created in partnership with Youtooz.
The designs are inspired by Lucy and Rebecca from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Pre-orders opened on July 15 and are scheduled to remain available until August 18, although availability may vary.
Nessie has become one of the most recognizable symbols of Apex Legends, and combining the mascot with two fan-favorite Edgerunners characters makes the plush collection another major highlight of the collaboration.
When Does the Apex Legends x Cyberpunk Event End?
The Apex Legends x Cyberpunk event ends on August 4, 2026.
The main Wildcard takeover, Cyberware mechanics, Cyberpsychosis system, Twitch Drops, and event gameplay will only be available during this period.
However, the Cyberpunk cosmetic collection will remain in the Apex Legends Store until August 18.
Players interested in earning free rewards should complete the event challenges and claim the Twitch Drops before August 4.
Is the Apex Legends x Cyberpunk Event Worth Playing?
The crossover offers much more than a standard collection of premium skins.
Sandevistan and Blackwall Breach introduce new movement and combat possibilities, while Cyberpsychosis forces players to balance power with risk. The Night City E-District takeover also gives Wildcard a distinct visual identity that closely matches the atmosphere of the Cyberpunk universe.
Add the Mythic Skippy Alternator, Edgerunners-inspired skins, free Reward Shop items, and Twitch Drops, and the result is a crossover filled with reasons to return to the Outlands.
For Cyberpunk fans, it is an opportunity to see Night City collide with one of gaming’s biggest battle royales. For Apex Legends players, it is a limited-time experiment built around speed, chaos, and dangerous cybernetic power.
Night City has arrived. The chrome is installed. Now there is only one question left:
How far are you willing to push your Cyberware before you lose control?
